Had a decent stay at Candlewood in San Antonio. The room had a nice kitchenette and the fitness room was excellent! Just a bummer about the limited parking and some late-night noise from the pool area.

Check-in took an agonizing 45 minutes because of missing confirmation details. Upon returning to the room multiple times, the keys failed to work after each exit. The lack of housekeeping during my week-long stay made it inconvenient to request basic items like towels and trash removal.

absolutley terrible experience at candlewood. first, it took forever to check in, and the poor service didn’t stop there. no housekeeping for an entire week, and not even complimentary breakfast! i also expected to be treated special but woudl ve been happy with at least some towels waiting for me in my room. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

The bed was very comfortable,, and I appreciated the clean, well-equipped room. The kitchenette made our stay convenient for preparing meals. The location was easy to find with great food options within walking distance, enhancing our overall experience.

Additionally, there was a distinct smell in the room, which detracted from my overall comfort. I also noticed maintenance issues like loose plugs and peeling finishes that should have been addressed before my arrival.

The full-size kitchen in the room was a pleasant suprise. The room I got was small.

Spacious room, well-maintained amenities, featuring an outdoor swimming pool that provided a refreshing way to unwind after a day of exploring and a fitness center that was great for staying active during our stay.

It was a great match for a short stay in San Antonio with excellent value for money. The coffee in the little convenience store by the lobby was exceptional, the best I've ever had in a hotel. Try to get a ground floor room if you can for easier access.

Nice place for a quick stay

Spent one night in a queen studio, not too bad! The room was pretty clean, and I liked that they allowed dogs for just $15. The only bummer was the bathroom faucet, it looked kinda old and rusty. The dining area outside was cool for hanging out too.

The location is great as it's close to Sea World, providing easy access for family fun. The full kitchen in the room made it convenient for preparing meals, adding to the comfort of our stay. Additionally, the quiet environment allowed for a peaceful retreat after busy days.

The water pressure in the shower was less than desirable, which detracted from the overall experience.
